Hyundai CRETA leads Brazilian retail recovery at end of Q3 - MM

Hyundai Creta is a two-time Brazilian retail sales champion in 2023 and 2024 and is consistently expanding its leadership in 2025 as well. After the end of the third quarter, the model recorded sales of 43,198 units throughout the year, according to data from Fenabrave (National Federation of Motor Vehicle Dealers), representing 6,752 additional cars. This retail ranking only considers sales intended for end users, excluding amounts directed to businesses, such as rental companies and fleets.

In the first half of 2025, the new Ultimate configuration, equipped with a 1.6 turbo GDI engine and launched in October 2024, has doubled the sales recorded with its predecessor, the 2.0 aspirated engine, during the same period last year. The top version, which had a share of 8% of the total volume of units sold before the design and equipment update, currently represents more than 14% of SUV sales.

The new generation of Creta brings fully revamped exterior and internal design, an updated engine and more safety, comfort and technology features to the driver and passengers. The model is offered in five versions in the Dealership Network: Comfort, Limited and Platinum, each with a 1.0 Turbo GDI engine with 120 HP and 17.5 kgf.m of torque;Enine, with the same engine and more sports looks;and Ultimate, equipped with Turbo GDI 1.6 engine with 193 HP and 27.0 kgf.m of torque, the most powerful in the range.
